Carthage College Athletics

From Quincy, Ill., and the brother of 1984 Carthage Athletic Hall of Fame inductee Jim Langan, Tom Langan lettered three times in football (1952-54) as a lineman and a kicker. He was a co-captain of the 1954 team and the winner of that year’s Carthage Kiwanis award.  Langan also played two years of basketball and lettered on both the 1952 and 1953 baseball teams before signing a professional contract.
