Carthage College Athletics

From Harvard, Ill., Gordy Postlewaite lettered twice in football (1957-58) and once in baseball (1956). In football, he was named to the Peoria Journal-Star all-state team in both 1956 and 1957. Postlewaite went on to become the assistant superintendent for schools in Oswego, Ill., as well as a Carthage College trustee from 1991 to the present.
