CARTHAGE ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME
Carthage's most decorated men's swimmer, Drake joined the program in 2007 from Aurora, Ill. During his time at Carthage, he was named a College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) All-American each of his four seasons, beginning with a 16th-place finish at nationals as a freshman in the 200 backstroke. He would take 11th in the event at the NCAA Championships in 2010 as a sophomore and 14th as a junior, before taking ninth place his senior season while earning All-American honorable mention in the 400 individual medley as well. His career-best time of 1:47.92 in the 200 backstroke remains a Carthage record.
Drake was named the CCIW Men's Swimmer of the Year in both 2011 and 2012, and was awarded the MVP of the conference championship meet during his senior season. He earned all-conference honors in 15 events during his time at Carthage, including nine individual and five relay CCIW titles across eight different events.
