CARTHAGE ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME
From West Allis, Wis., Kathy (Mucha) Acker lettered four times in both basketball (1975-78) and volleyball (1974-77) and twice in track and field (1977-78). In volleyball, she was named first-team All-Women’s Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in 1975, 1976 and 1977. In basketball, was named All-Wisconsin Women’s Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in both 1977 and 1978. She is ranked third on the Carthage career scoring list (1,552 points) and second for rebounds (1,227). She went on to become a teacher and coach at West Allis High School in Milwaukee, Wis.
