CARTHAGE ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME
From Kenosha, Wis., Linda Rikli lettered three times in swimming and diving (1976-78) and once in softball (1977), while also participating in track and field. Rikli holds Carthage records in both the one-meter and three-meter diving events. She finished ninth in the three-meter diving event at the 1977 Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women at Clarion University and was named AIAW All-American. In 1978, Rikli finished 16th in the one-meter and 24th in the three-meter at the NCAA Division III Women's Swimming and Diving Championships at Brenau College in Gainesville, Ga. She earned All-CCIW honors in both 1976 and 1977. Rikli went on to become the regional director of Women in Community Service in San Francisco.
