CARTHAGE ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME
Joining the Carthage women's basketball program from Mount Prospect, Ill., Kuzmanic secured her starting guard spot as a sophomore, after playing in 26 contests as a freshman. Averaging 6.1 points and 3.3 assists per game during the 2011-12 season, she elevated her game as a junior and began to earn national recognition.
After posting 13.6 points and 5.6 assists per game in 2012-13, Kuzmanic was named a Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) and D3hoops.com honorable mention All-American, a first-team all-region selection by D3hoops.com, and was named the CCIW Player of the Year. The point guard led her team to a 24-5 record, and reached the second round of the NCAA National Tournament.
During her senior season, Kuzmanic continued to dominate and lead Carthage to success, averaging 14.8 points and 7.2 assists per game while guiding her team to a 26-4 record and a "sweet 16" appearance at the 2014 NCAA Division III Tournament. She was a first team All-American selection by the WBCA, and a second team honoree by D3hoops.com. She was named the central region player of the year by D3hoops.com as well, and once again named the CCIW's most outstanding player.
A Capital One Academic All-American Player of the Year for Division III and First Team Capital One Academic All-American, Kuzmanic was named the CCIW Jack Swartz Academic Award winner as both a junior and senior. She ended her career at Carthage ranked third in assists with 499, fifth in free-throw percentage at 78.7 percent, and 21st in scoring with 1,060 points. Kuzmanic owns the school record for assists in a season when she totaled 202 as a senior, and set a program record with 17 assists on January 11, 2014, which ranks as the 10th-most in a single game in NCAA history.
