The all-defensive teams were announced Wednesday by the American Baseball Coaches Association. Teams in all 10 NCAA Division III regions are selected by ABCA member coaches, with the process led by the ABCA NCAA Division III All-America and Coach of the Year Committee.
Earlier this postseason, Ossenfort earned D3baseball.com All-America Second Team and ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-America Second Team honors. He also was selected as the D3baseball.com Region 8 Rookie of the Year after receiving NCAA Division III Region VIII All-Region First Team and D3baseball.com All-Region 8 First Team recognition.
The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Student-Athlete of the Year and First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year, Ossenfort batted .433 with 55 hits, 12 doubles, a team-best 13 home runs and 46 RBI this season.
An All-CCIW First Team selection, Ossenfort finished with the sixth-most home runs and ninth-highest batting average in a single season in program history. He also became the program's first recipient of the CCIW First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year award since 2013.
