KENOSHA — Carthage College baseball shortstop Michael Ossenfort earned D3baseball.com All-America Second Team and ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-America Second Team honors, the organizations announced today.

Ossenfort also was named the D3baseball.com Region 8 Rookie of the Year after previously earning NCAA Division III Region VIII All-Region First Team and D3baseball.com All-Region 8 First Team recognition.

The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Student-Athlete of the Year and First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year, Ossenfort batted .433 with 55 hits, 12 doubles, a team-best 13 home runs and 46 RBI this season.

An All-CCIW First Team selection, Ossenfort recorded the sixth-most home runs and ninth-highest batting average in a single season in program history. He also became the program's first recipient of the CCIW First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year award since 2013.
