KENOSHA — Carthage College baseball shortstop Michael Ossenfort earned NCAA Division III Region VIII All-Region First Team and D3baseball.com All-Region 8 First Team honors, the organizations announced today.

Ossenfort, the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Student-Athlete of the Year and First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year, batted .433 this season with 55 hits, 12 doubles, a team-best 13 home runs and 46 RBI.

An All-CCIW First Team selection, Ossenfort recorded the sixth-most home runs and ninth-highest batting average in a single season in program history.

Ossenfort also became the program's first recipient of the CCIW First-Year Student-Athlete of the Year award since 2013.
