GREENWOOD — Four Carthage College baseball student-athletes earned spots on the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Team, as announced Tuesday.

Bryce Schaum were recognized for their combined excellence on the field and in the classroom. Scanlon and Schaum were additionally named CSC Academic All-America® finalists and will advance to the national ballot.
The CSC Academic All-District® program honors the nation's top student-athletes for academic and athletic achievement across four divisions: NCAA Division I, Division II, Division III, and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees from NCAA Division III are selected through nominations and voting by CSC members.
Finalists named to the Academic All-America® ballot will be eligible for selection to first--, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honors. Results will be announced on Tuesday, July 1.
The Division II and III Academic All-America® programs receive partial financial support from their respective NCAA governance structures, helping fund the awards program administered by CSC. Similarly, the NAIA program receives support from the NAIA governance structure.
