Baseball Earning Votes in this Week's NCAA Division III Coaches Poll

KENOSHA — The Carthage College baseball team received votes in the latest 2025 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) NCAA Division III Coaches Poll, released Tuesday.

The Firebirds made a statement in their most recent outing, scoring seven runs in the opening inning en route to a convincing win over Elmhurst. Max Cairo launched a two-run home run to open the scoring, while Zander Tubbs and AJ Gaca each delivered key RBI hits. Joe Zuleger added a solo homer in the second, and an eight-run seventh inning sealed the result. Brendan Roberts picked up the win on the mound, improving to 3-1.

Carthage stands at 17-7 overall and 5-2 in College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin play heading into Saturday's home doubleheader against North Park. First pitch at Augie Schmidt Field is set for noon.
