WHITEWATER, Wis. — The Carthage College men's track and field team wrapped up the Midwest Elite Invitational hosted by Wisconsin-Whitewater on Saturday.

"We had a few bright spots during the meet today, which included
Armen Jerikian in the 400m,
Chase Upmann and
Bo Anderson in the 800m,
Ethan Walker and
Jacob Curulewski in the 5K,
Tyler Rose and
Jordan Hughes in the shot put, and
Jacob Brost in the weight throw.
Our focus for the next two weeks will be gearing up mentally for a hard-fought battle at the CCIW Championships in Bloomington. If we're ready mentally, I am confident in the body of work and level of talent this team has within."
- The Firebirds will participate in the Wisconsin-Parkside Classic which starts at noon on Friday, February 17.
- Carthage will also compete at the Wisconsin-Oshkosh Titan Challenge, beginning at 11 a.m. the following day.
