NAPERVILLE - The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) announced its Women's Lacrosse Student-Athletes of the Week. For the second time this season,
Kaitlyn Goff of the Carthage Women's Lacrosse team was named Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week for the CCIW, the conference announced Tuesday.
Goff, a junior from Park Ridge, Illinois, anchored the Firebirds' defense in Saturday's win over Illinois Wesleyan. Goff recorded seven ground balls, four caused turnovers, and 11 draw controls, while also contributing offensively with one goal and one assist.
The Firebirds will return to action Wednesday, April 22, at 6 p.m. in Elmhurst, Illinois, to take on the Elmhurst Bluejays. For more information, visit our
