KENOSHA, WIS.-The Carthage College men's lacrosse team will host Illinois Wesleyan University in the 2016 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin Championship Game on Saturday, May 7 at 2:00 p.m. The Red Men defeated Elmhurst College 11-10 in the CCIW Semifinal contest on May 4, which locked them a spot in Saturday's Championship bout with Illinois Wesleyan. The Titans cruised past Augustana College 21-13 in their CCIW Semifinal matchup on May 4.

Carthage defeated Illinois Wesleyan 14-10 in their lone matchup of the season in Bloomington, Ill. on April 23.

The CCIW doesn't have an automatic qualifier into the 2016 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament. The Red Men will await their fate in Sunday night's selection show.

The Red Men are looking to reverse their fortunes after falling to Augustana College 10-9 in the 2015 CCIW Men's Lacrosse Championship Game. Their 16-5 record last season was good enough to earn them an at-large bid into the 2015 NCAA Men's Lacrosse Tournament. Carthage eventually fell to No. 3 Ohio Wesleyan University 14-6 on May 6, 2015.
