The Carthage College baseball team (0-0, 0-0 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin) is scheduled to open its 2014 season at Fontbonne University's Shaw Park in St. Louis, Mo., and that could still happen on Sunday, March 9.  However, the Red Men's scheduled games for Saturday, March 8 against Fontbonne and Benedictine University (Ill.) have been canceled due to frozen grounds.  Carthage hopes to play a Noon doubleheader against Fontbonne on Sunday, March 9.
