The two team play a Saturday, May 4 doubleheader at Legion Field in Carol Stream, Ill., beginning at 1 p.m.
A sacrifice fly by Michael Szalach put the Thunder up, 1-0, in the second inning. A sacrifice fly by Justin Swider and a base-loaded walk to Kyle Mellinger in the third made it 3-0.
