Box Score Carthage 13, Fontbonne 7

The Carthage College men's lacrosse team (6-2, 2-1 Midwest Men's Lacrosse Conference) defeated conference-opponent Fontbonne University (5-5, 1-2 MMLC), 13-7, on Saturday, March 31 at Centene Stadium in St. Louis, Mo. 

Carthage led, 4-1, after the first period, 7-3 at halftime and 9-3 after three periods.  Keegan Bowman (Sr., New Westminster, British Columbia/New Westminster Secondary) led the Red Men with four goals, with Mason Poage (Jr., Columbia, Mo./Hickman) and Mike Upshaw (Jr., Santa Ana, Calif./Foothill) scoring two goals each.  Seth Molek (Jr., Oak Park, Ill./Oak Park-River Forest) had one goals with three assists. Peter Travis scored two goals for the Griffins. 

Carthage plays its home-opener on Saturday, April 7 by entertaining league-opponent Trine University (5-3, 2-1 MMLC) in a 1 p.m. contest at Art Keller Field in Kenosha, Wis.
