Carthage's Jack Tilton to Represent United States at FISU America Games

LIMU, Peru - The 2026 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin outdoor high jump champion Jack Tilton will represent both Carthage College and the United States of America at the FISU America Games on July 31 in Lima, Peru.

Sanctioned by the International University Sports Federation (FISU), the America Games are held in even numbered-years for countries in North America, Central America, South America and the Caribbean. Competition is spread across 14 different sport disciplines.

University of Iowa Assistant track & field coach Jason Wakenight will lead the United States at the games, while Elmhurst University's David Stone will oversee Tilton in the high jump.

Tilton, a native of Rochelle, Ill., will compete in the high jump at 10:20 a.m. CST on Friday, July 31.
