ROCK ISLAND/LA CROSSE – The Carthage College women's track & field team returned to action at the Augustana Twilight and the UW-La Crosse Final Qualifier. 


At Augustana, Christina Hall competed in the long jump, placing 12th with a mark of 5.28 meters.

At UW-La Crosse, four Firebirds competed in the discus and shot put events. In the discus, Jackie Tuzil recorded a throw of 45.60 meters to earn a second-place finish. In the shot put, Caylene Von-Schilling Worth led the Firebirds with a ninth-place finish and a mark of 12.45 meters. Lillian Townsend followed in 10th place with a throw of 12.74 meters, while Madison Payne placed 14th with a mark of 12.51 meters.


The Firebirds will wait to see which student-athletes will be selected to compete in the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships. For more information, visit  athletics.carthage.edu.
