NEW ORLEANS – The United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced its 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field All-Region honorees on Wednesday, with
Madison Payne and
Jackie Tuzil of the Carthage College women's track & field team earning recognition.
The USTFCCCA awards All-Region honors to the top eight individuals in each event from each region, along with members of the region's top-eight relay teams.
Payne, a senior from Mount Prospect, Illinois, earned All-Region honors in the shot put after finishing fifth in the North Region during the outdoor season. Payne recorded a season-best throw of 13.57 meters at the Wheaton "Don Church" Twilight.
Tuzil, a senior from Schaumburg, Illinois, received All-Region honors in the discus after finishing second in the North Region. Tuzil currently ranks eighth nationally in the discus on the NCAA Division III Outdoor Qualifying List. Tuzil posted a season-best throw of 47.88 meters at the CCIW Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Tuzil will compete at the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships in La Crosse, Wisconsin, from May 21-23. The discus competition is scheduled for Thursday, May 21, at 4:30 p.m.
