ROCK ISLAND/LA CROSSE - The Carthage men's track & field team competed in a pair last chance meets on Friday. The Firebirds saw student-athletes compete in both the Augustana Penultimate and the Wis-La Crosse Uncaged Eagle Open.
AUGUSTANA PENULTIMATE
Tyler Rose placed fourth in the shot put with a throw of 16.09m. Al Crema placed seventh at 14.49m.
Rose then placed second in the discus throw with a mark of 53.42m.
Rose's day concluded with a seventh-place finish in the hammer throw with a mark of 55.22m.
WIS-LA CROSSE UNCAGED EAGLE OPEN
Dylan Parker continued to rewrite the Carthage record books, placing third in the 400m with a time of 47.13 seconds.

- Parker now ranks 13th in the 400m at the NCAA Division III level at 47.13.
