WHITEWATER – The Carthage College women's track & field team returned to competition at the Drake Alternative, hosted by UW-Whitewater. The Firebirds delivered a strong tune-up performance as they prepare for the 2026 CCIW Outdoor Track & Field Championships next weekend.


SPRINTS
In the 400-meter run, Noelle Marsh and Olivia Hartwig placed third and eighth with times of 1:02.23 and 1:05.43, respectively. Angelina Gersch earned a runner-up finish in the 400-meter hurdles, recording a personal-best time of 1:09.74, while Jadynn Kramer also notched a personal best, placing fifth in 1:16.84.

DISTANCE
In the 800-meter run, Jessie Pakaski secured a third-place finish with a time of 2:20.29.

JUMPS
Christina Hall led the way in the field events, winning the long jump with a mark of 5.32 meters. In the pole vault, Reese Teevan cleared 3.23 meters to place eighth, while Tara Schaalma finished eighth in the triple jump with a mark of 10.11 meters.

THROWS
Jackie Tuzil recorded a sixth-place finish in the discus throw with a mark of 42.52 meters. In the javelin, Addison Huppert posted a personal-best throw of 32.19 meters.


NCAA Performance List
Jackie Tuzil currently ranks tenth on the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Qualifying List in the discus throw.

Madison Payne is ranked 15th on the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Qualifying List in the shot put.

CCIW Performance List
In the 10,000-meter run, Kylie Florance is ranked third on the Outdoor CCIW Performance List with a time of 39:03.21.

Christina Hall ranks second in the long jump with a mark of 5.55 meters. 

Madison Payne ranks first in both the shot put (13.57 meters) and the hammer throw (48.05 meters). Lillian Townsend is currently third in the shot put with a mark of 12.83 meters.

In the discus throw, Jackie Tuzil is ranked second with a mark of 45.79 meters.

Julia Kraus is ranked second in the heptathlon, scoring 3310 points.
