NAPERVILLE - The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) announced its Women's Lacrosse Student-Athletes of the Week. Hannah Kim of the Carthage Women's Lacrosse team was named Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week for the CCIW, the conference announced Tuesday. 

Kim, a Senior from Aurora, Colorado, helped the Firebirds' defense limit the UW-Stevens Point Pointers to three goals this past Wednesday. In the win against the Pointers, Kim recorded one goal, alongside three ground balls, three caused turnovers, and five draw controls. 

The Firebirds will return to action on Art Keller Field on Wednesday, April 1, at 7 p.m. to face Lake Forest.
