Men's Track & Field Projected to Finish Runner-Up in CCIW Pre-Championship Poll

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - The Carthage men's track & field team has been projected to finish in second place in the 2026 College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Indoor Track & Field Pre-Championship Poll, the conference announced Thursday.

The Firebirds enter the CCIW Indoor Track & Field Championships with three meet wins this season, as the team swept their home schedule with victories at the Forever Red Alumni Classic, the Firebird First, and the Tadd Metzger Invitational.

Several Firebirds currently rank in the top-10 of their respective events in the CCIW, including Landon Voye (60m, 200m), Dylan Parker (200m, 400m), Harlan Matson (mile, 3,0000m), Jacob Curulewski (mile, 3,000m, 5,000m), Euphrates Willis (high jump, triple jump), Jack Tilton (high jump), Camron Foster (high jump, triple jump), Hayden Rollins (pole vault), Micah O'Neal (pole vault), Kedrick Johnson III (long jump, triple jump), Tyler Rose (shot put, weight throw), and Caleb Haas-Rock (weight throw).

The Firebirds will compete in the 2026 CCIW Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday, Feb 27 and Saturday, Feb. 28 at Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington, Ill. For more information, visit athletics.carthage.edu.
