Rollins Earns CCIW Student-Athlete of the Week Honors for Men's Track & Field

NAPERVILLE - Hayden Rollins of the Carthage men's track & field team was named the College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) Men's Field Student-Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday.

Rollins made a grand entrance in an impressive collegiate debut with the Firebirds, winning the pole vault with a mark of 4.75 meters at the Carthage Forever Red Alumni Classic. The mark broke the Carthage school record, surpassing the previous best mark of 4.70m set by Calvin Callahan in 2014.

Carthage men's track & field returns to action in 2026 as the Firebirds will host the Firebird First on Jan. 17 in the Tarble Athletic & Recreation Center. For more information, visit athletics.carthage.edu.
