KENOSHA, Wis. - The Carthage women's track & field team hosted the Firebird Finale at the Tarble Athletic and Recreation Center on Friday afternoon. It was a special day for the Firebirds, who celebrated their seniors with a Senior Day recognition ceremony before the meet began. Athletes recognized included

Dora Dill,
Jill Forgac,
Alyssa Gulsvig,
Madie Haupert,
Sarah Kerfin,
Ally LaBerge,
Hannah Lizano,
Alexis Mattox,
Gabriella-Marie Rinon,
Lillian Rizzo,
Aubrey Schoeneman, and
Nicole Tarpley.
A handful of Firebirds also competed in the Ripon Final Qualifier + Multi on Saturday afternoon.
Julie Heinrichs won the 800m with a time of 2:28.20. Jessie Pakaski placed third in 2:29.98. Pakaski led a pack of Firebirds that included Lili Bednarek in fourth, Rinon in fifth, Kaitlyn Jerbi in sixth, and Kenzie Egert in seventh.
Broz won the 3,000m with a 11:41.58 performance. Elizabeth Eck placed second in 11:51.05, with JAckie Zavaria finishing third in 11:59.21 and Katherine Mahoney placing fourth in 12:03.17.
Tara Schaalma won the 55m hurdles with a personal best time of 8.93 seconds. Charlotte Monroe placed third at 9.97. Grace Nisius placed fifth with Emma Kreuziger taking sixth place.
Schoeneman won the shot put with a throw of 14.51m. Gulsvig placed second at 13.70m. Mattox placed fifth, with Mikayla Wright taking seventh.
Mattox won the weight throw with a mark of 18.33m. Nicole Tarpley placed second at 17.57m. Schoeneman placed seventh, with Lizano placing eighth.
Kylie Florance placed second in the mile with a personal best time of 5:29.74. Bednarek placed third in a personal best 5:31.71. Jerbi placed sixth with a personal best 5:38.54.
The 4x400m relay, which featured Pakaski, Leela Desharnais, Rinon, and Forgac, placed second in 4:33.10.
Teagan Johnston placed third in the high jump, clearing 1.41m.
Anna Kegel placed third in the long jump with a mark of 5.67m.
Mandy Nelson placed fourth in the 55m with a time of 7.66 seconds. Caitlyn Hodgins placed fifth in a personal best 7.68. Haupert placed eighth.
Nelson and Hodgins went 4-5 again in the 200m, with Nelson running 27.47 and Hodgins finishing in 28.00.
Cori Cavanaugh placed fourth in the 400m with Rizzo right behind in fifth.
Abbey Calhoun placed fourth in the triple jump with a mark of 11.33m.Â
At the Ripon Final Qualifier, Calhoun won the triple jump with a mark of 11.24m.
Christina Hall placed second in the long jump at Ripon with a mark of 5.21m. Kegel placed third at 5.18m.
