NEW ORLEANS - Madison Payne of the Carthage women's track & field team has received United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Region honors for the 2026 indoor track & field season, the USTFCCCA announced Wednesday. The top eight individuals in each event from each region earn an All-Region distinction, in addition to each member of the region's top-8 relay teams.

Payne, a senior from Mount Prospect, Ill., received the honor in the shot put after finishing fourth in the North Region after the indoor regular season. Payne is also ranked 14th in the NCAA Division III with a mark of 13.80 meters. 

Payne will compete at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships in Birmingham, Alabama, on March 13–14. The weight throw is scheduled for Friday, March 13, at 3 p.m., while the shot put will take place Saturday, March 14, at 2 p.m.
