Men’s Swimming and Diving Competes Against University of Chicago

KENOSHA - The Carthage College men's swimming and diving team returned back home for a matchup against University Chicago Saturday afternoon.

The Firebirds team of Conner Hwang, Jacob Hardt, Christian Snyder, and Logan Dales took third in the 200 yard medley relay in a time of 1:34.94.

Wyatt Fredeen and Max Robinson took first and second place in the 1000 yard freestyle with times 10:25.96 and 10:35.92.

Ben Keller took third in the 200 yard freestyle in a time of 1:45.80.

Will Murray and Matija Simic took second and third place in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 22.05 and 22.09.

Paul Busse took the gold in the 200 yard IM with a time of 1:55.21.

Taydin Murphy and John Quinn took second and third in the one meter dive with scores of 218.05 and 171.70.

Snyder took second place in the 100 yard butterfly with a time of 51.30.

Dales took the gold in the 100 yard freestyle with a time of 46.95.

In third place, Hwang clocked a time of 53.74 in the 100 yard backstroke.

In the 500 yard freestyle, Keller took third place in a time of 4:50.28.

Murphy and Quinn took the gold and silver in the three meter dive with scores of 207.55 and 175.20.

Hardt clocked a time of 58.98 in the 100 yard breaststroke for a second place finish.

The Firebirds team of Dales, Snyder, Aidan Nord, and Busse clocked a time of 3:12.86 for a third place finish in the 400 yard freestyle relay.
