PLEASANT PRAIRIE - The Carthage men's swim team competed in the 2026 Swimming CCIW Championships from Wednesday evening through Saturday evening.

DAY ONE
The Firebirds relay team earned a third-place finish in the 800-yard freestyle relay with a time of 7:02.40. The team consisted of
AJ Landorf,
William Murray,
Aidan Nord, and
Tyson Politsch.
DAY TWO
Adam Hollis placed sixth in the 50-yard freestyle, clocking 21.53.
In the 500-yard freestyle, Politsch clocked 4:44.61 for a sixth-place finish.
Hitting the board at 1:54.76, Landorf medaled, finishing in second place in the 200-yard IM. Additionally, Andrew Laborevitch placed eighth with a time of 2:00.98.
The Firebirds relay team clocked in a medal-worthy finish in the 200-yard freestyle relay. In third place, the team of Nick Deluca, Hollis, Murray, and Nord hit the board at 1:25.35.
In the 400-yard medley relay, the Firebirds team clocked a time of 3:25.22 for a third-place finish. The team consisted of Landorf, Politsch, Nord, and Murray.
DAY THREE
The Firebirds relay team earned a medal-worthy finish (third place) in the 200 medley relay, clocking a time of 1:32.31. The team consisted of Landorf, Politsch, Ben Przekota, and Hollis.
Jackson Morris took seventh place in the 400-yard IM, touching the board at 4:26.80.
In the 100-yard butterfly, Landorf took the silver medal, clocking a time of 50.96.
Nord and DeLuca placed sixth and eighth in the 200-yard freestyle, touching the board at 1:45.27 and 1:50.05.
Politsch took the silver medal in the 100-yard breaststroke, clocking a time of 56.20.
Ian Glossa placed eighth in the 100-yard backstroke, hitting the board at 54.05.
DAY FOUR
Sean Noller took sixth place in the 1650-yard freestyle in a time of 17:29.90.
Four Firebirds placed in the 200-yard backstroke. Glossa led the Birds in fifth place with a time of 1:57.93. Kal Kramp and Trey Halas swam 2:00.74 and 2:01.47 for sixth and seventh-place finishes. Additionally, Tyler Wojdyla placed eighth in a time of 2:04.07.
Nord clocked a time of 47.43 for a seventh-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle.
Politsch (second-place) and Laborevitch (eighth-place) placed in the 200-yard breaststroke with times of 2:06.76 and 2:12.85.
Landorf took the gold in the 200-yard butterfly, edging out the competition with a time of 1:55.06. Additionally, Przekota placed eighth with a time of 2:07.97.
In the 400-yard freestyle relay, the Firebirds relay team of Deluca, Politsch, Landorf, and Nord, clocked a time of 3:09.88 for a third-place finish.
