2024-25: Had six personal-best times on the season... Medaled 1st place in every event, swam at the Carthage Classic... Placed 2nd in the 400 YD IM and 3rd in the 200 YD IM at the CCIW Championship... Overall personal best in the 400 YD IM with 4:05:62 at the Carthage Classic. 

2023-24: Competed in 10 meets for the season...Swam a season best in the CCIW-Championships with a time of 4:08.07 in the 400 Individual Medley...Placed 1st in the Carthage Classic with a time of 1:57.01 in the 200 Butterfly...Collected 3rd place with a time of 1:54.43 in the 200 Individual Medley during the CCIW-Championships.

2022-23: Clocked in a total of six personal-best times, a time of 2:17.29 in the 200-yard breaststroke earning third, 1:58.02 in the 200-yard butterfly placing second, and 4:08.73 in the 400-yard individual medley at the CCIW Championships placing second ... Earned two fifth place season-bests at the CCIW Championships with a time of 10:12.46 in the 1000-yard freestyle and 16:55.35 in the 1650-yard freestyle ... Awarded CSC Academic All District Honors ... CCIW All-Conference in the 400-yard individual medley 

2021-22: Recorded season-best times in the 500-yard freestyle and 1650-yard freestyle ... Tallied a personal-best time of 4:09.62 in the 400-yard individual medley at the CCIW Championships ... CCIW Swimmer of the Week selection on Feb. 1 ... CCIW All-Conference selection in the 400-yard individual medley and 1650-yard freestyle. 

High School: Swam at Waunakee High School under head coach Kayla Proctor ... Four-time all-conference selection ... two-time school record holder in the 200-yard medley relay and 400-yard freestyle relay ... Named All-State Honorable Mention during his senior year ... Member of the WIAA State championship teams his junior and senior year ... Ran cross country for four years. 

Personal: Son of Kjersten and Erik Busse ... Studying Nursing while attending Carthage ... Swam for the Waunakee Wave club team under head coach Greg Lake.
