KENOSHA - The Carthage men's dive team competed in the 2026 Diving CCIW Championships Friday evening and Saturday afternoon.
DAY ONE
The Firebirds opened the meet strong on Friday evening in the 1-meter dive, with
Taydin Murphy*,
Devon Kuhn*,
Kevin Sarazin*, and
Carson Sehy* all in action. Murphy led the way with a dominant performance, claiming first place and a podium finish after totaling 448.55 points across 11 dives. Kuhn also reached the podium, finishing second with a score of 347.20. Sarazin and Sehy rounded out the Firebirds' efforts, placing fourth and sixth with scores of 321.10 and 311.75, respectively.
DAY TWO
Carthage continued its momentum on Saturday afternoon, sweeping the podium in the 3-meter dive. Murphy once again paced the Firebirds, earning first place with a score of 458.75. Sehy and Sarazin followed closely, finishing second and third with scores of 351.75 and 330.90. Kuhn capped off the sweep, placing fourth with a score of 320.50.
