The Firebirds Secure Two Wins in Home Opener

KENOSHA - The Carthage College men's swimming and diving team hosted the MSOE Raiders and Lake Forest Foresters Saturday afternoon.

The Firebirds 200 yard medley relay team of Conner Hwang, Jacob Hardt, Christian Snyder, and Logan Dales took first with a time of 1:36.11.

Tyson Politsch brought home the gold in the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:00.72

Receiving first in both the one meter and three meter dives, with a score of 196.90 and 196.90 was Taydin Murphy.

Dales finished first in the 100 yard freestyle, clocking in a time of 48.25.

Paul Busse took first place in the 200 yard breaststroke, with a time of 2:13.75.

Snyder recorded a time of 51.47 in the 100 yard butterfly, taking the win.

The Firebirds team of Hwang, William Murray, Snyder, and Dales finished with a time of 3:11.80 to take the gold in the 400 yard freestyle relay.
