KENOSHA, Wis. — Scoring nearly 4,000 points in his first performance in the multi, Adam Kedzior took fourth place among nine participants in the heptathlon at the Tadd Metzger Invitational on Saturday morning in the Tarble Athletic and Recreation Center.

"Overall, I thought Adam had a great debut in the heptathlon," said head coach Josh Henry. "Posting a score of almost 4,000 points on the first attempt is very solid. The most exciting thing is knowing there are so many areas for him to improve; he definitely has a bright future in the multi."

Kedzior took second in both the 55-meter dash and long jump on Friday, before settling in fourth place overall after the shot put and high jump. On Saturday, the sophomore placed fifth in the 55-meter hurdles, tied for second in the pole vault, and third in the 1,000. He finished with 3,973 total points, the eighth-most in the heptathlon in program history.
