NAPERVILLE, Ill. — The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin released their 2021 baseball awards and all-conference teams on Wednesday, selecting Dante Guarascio, Ben Levicki, and Bryce Prybylinski to the All-CCIW Second Team.

After leading the team in ERA and wins, Guarascio earns his first career all-conference honor. The junior from Kenosha, Wis. ranked in the top-10 within the CCIW in batting average against (.221), wins (four), and ERA (3.24). In 12 appearances for Carthage this season, Guarascio held his opponent to two or fewer earned runs in 11 games, picking up wins over Carroll, Elmhurst, North Park, and Millikin.

Earning his first all-conference honor as well, Levicki ranked third on the Firebirds roster in batting average at .328, runs scored at 27, and home runs with four. The outfielder from Cary, Ill. was tied for 10th among all CCIW student-athletes with an on-base percentage of .448, which was boosted by his 24 walks drawn on the season, which ranked as the seventh most in the conference.

Joining Guarascio and Levicki on the All-CCIW Second Team is senior first baseman Bryce Prybylinski. The team leader in home runs, extra-base hits, and RBI, his nine round trippers were tied for the second-most in the conference this season, and he was one of just five CCIW student-athletes with a slugging percentage over .600. The Discovery Bay, Calif. native was named the conference player of the week on April 13, after going 12-23 (.522) from the plate with six runs scored, three home runs and 12 RBI in five games played. In the midst of an 11-game hitting streak this season, Prybylinski connected on seven home runs during an eight-game stretch.
