KENOSHA, WIS.—The Carthage College men's lacrosse team (2-0, 0-0 CCIW) will open the home portion of their 2018 schedule on Saturday, February 24 against Hope College (0-0, 0-0 MIAA) at 1:00 p.m. This will mark Carthage's third game of the season against an opponent who hasn't played a contest yet this season.

Through two games,
Andy Meyers ranks fourth in the country with an .842 (32-39) faceoff percentage, and third nationally with 13.00 ground balls per game.
Andy Szun, who owns a team-leading seven goals and seven assists for 14 points, ranks seventh among NCAA Division III men's lacrosse players with 7.00 points per game.

ABOUT HOPE COLLEGE (0-0, 0-0 MIAA)

The Flying Dutch ended last season with a 10-6, 5-2 MIAA record, which ended with an 11-10 loss to Alma College in the 2017 Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Semifinal. Back from last season's squad is Rocco Mularoni, who finished second on the team with 44 goals and 17 assists for 61 points.
Also back for the Flying Dutch is their leading-returning face-off man in Kyle Gaines, who notched a 172-261 (.659) figure in 2017. Nick Schanhals, who tallied a 10.63 goals against average and a .509 save percentage over 14 starts last season, is the lone returning goalie on the 2018 Hope roster.

Michael Schanhals (39-39) is in his sixth season as Hope College head men's lacrosse coach. The Red Men own a 3-0 all-time record against the Flying Dutch.
