KENOSHA, WIS.—The Carthage College men's lacrosse team (2-1, 0-0 CCIW) will travel to Beloit College on Saturday, February 25 for a 1:00 p.m. game. The Red Men, who led the majority of a 9-8 OT loss to Rhodes College on February 19, will look to keep their perfect 2-0 all-time mark against Beloit intact. The Buccaneers fell to Carthage 10-3 at Art Keller Field in their previous meeting on February 27, 2015.

Andy Szun's seven goals and six assists for 13 points throughout Carthage's opening three games landed him CCIW Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week on Monday.
Ethan Flight, who registered six points all of last season, is second on the Red Men's scoring chart with five goals and four assists for nine points.

Carthage's .740 faceoff percentage ranks fifth in the country.
Andy Meyers, who's won 32-of-42 faceoffs this season, is the anchor behind that figure.

The Buccaneers, a member of the Midwest Lacrosse Conference, opened their 2017 season with an 18-7 victory over NAIA Ottawa University on February 18. Sophomore attack Mark Gannon paced Beloit with five goals and three assists in the contest. Also on the Beloit roster is junior defender Jake Wallace, whose 3.21 caused turnovers per game last season ranked third in NCAA Division III.

Beloit College finished their 2016 season with a 5-10, 3-3 MLC record. Rashad Devoe is in his second season at Buccaneer head men's lacrosse coach . He previously served assistant coaching stints at Colby College and Southwestern University.
