KENOSHA, WIS.—The Carthage College men's lacrosse team (2-0, 0-0 CCIW) will travel to Memphis, Tenn. to take on Rhodes College on Sunday, February 19 at 12:00 p.m. The Red Men opened their season with a pair of neutral-site victories over Northland College (21-5) and Hope College (14-5) on February 10 in Barrington, Ill.

Andy Szun paced the Carthage offense throughout the two-game stretch with five goals and four assists on 16 shots.
Matt Curran scored five of his six goals on the day in Carthage's opening game against Northland College.
Jordyn Williams opened his 2017 campaign with six caused turnovers against Hope College.

The Red Men fell to Rhodes 10-8 in their previous meeting on February 21, 2016.

The Lynx, a member of the Southern Athletic Conference, opened their 2017 season with a 12-9 victory over Southwestern University (Texas) on February 12. Ryan Fennelly paced the Rhodes offense with four goals in the contest.

The Lynx registered an 11-5, 4-3 SAA record in 2016, which ended with an 11-10 OT loss to Birmingham-Southern in the SAA Quarterfinals.

Returning for Rhodes is sophomore goalkeeper Cameron Link, who finished last season ranked seventh among NCAA Division III goalkeepers with a 6.85 goals against average. Much of that can be attributed to the Lynx' NCAA Division III-leading .877 man-down defense last season. Rhodes ranked fifth in the country with a 6.25 scoring defense in 2016.
