ABOUT WHITTIER COLLEGE (7-2)Â
The Poets enter their contest with Carthage riding a four-game win streak. This includes an 18-7 victory over DePauw on March 22, and an 18-9 decision against Elmhurst College on March 25. Whittier's meeting with Carthage is the first of a two-game swing in the Midwest. The Poets will travel to Aurora College on Sunday, April 10.

Maxwell Jones (12g, 14a, 26p), Jonathan Kassity (16g, 5a, 21p) and Matt Symes (14g, 6a, 20p) round out the Poets with 20+ points on the season. Scott Pescheret has won 141-of-207 faceoffs for the Poets and leads the troops with 84 ground balls on the season.
