Red Men To Embark Rocky Mountains Against Williams, Colorado College

KENOSHA, WIS.—The Carthage College men's lacrosse team (5-4, 1-0 CCIW) will travel to Colorado Springs on April 2-3. The Red Men will take on Williams College on Friday, April 2 at 12:00 p.m. (MT), and Colorado College on Sunday, April 3 at 12:00 p.m. (MT).
 
ABOUT WILLIAMS COLLEGE (4-3, 2-2 NESCAC)
 
The Ephs enter their contest with the Red Men winning three of their last four games. This includes a 15-6 victory over Colorado College on March 30. Thomas Fowler paces the Eph scoring attack with 18 goals and four assists for 22 points. Michael Fahley rounds out the Eph 20+ point scorers with 17 goals and four assists.
 
Miles McCarthy has started all seven games in goal for Williams. McCarthy owns a 10.24 goals against average, and a .536 save percentage.
 
The 2016 season is George McCormack's 18th as Williams College head men's lacrosse coach.
 
ABOUT COLORADO COLLEGE (6-4)
 
The Tigers began the 2016 season with four-straight victories, which includes a 14-5 decision over CCIW foe Augustana College on February 27. Davie Austin's 29 goals and eight assists for 37 points leads all Colorado College players. Tyler Borko and Robert Stern round out the 20+ point scorers in the Tiger lineup with 28 and 26 points respectively.
 
Chase Murphy carries the load in net for the Tigers and owns a 10.36 goals against average and .591 save percentage this season.
 
As a team, the Tigers are 11-for-38 on man-up opportunities and carry a .837 clear percentage.
 
Sean Woods is in his fourth season as Colorado College head men's lacrosse coach.
 
CARTHAGE
 
The Red Men are coming off a 13-9 loss to Aurora University at Art Keller Field on March 26. Dylan Harris paces the Red Men scoring corps with 18 goals and 13 assists for 31 points this season. Jared Ferrell trails him with 18 goals and eight assists for 26 points.
 
Ryan Smith has started six games in goal for the Red Men and owns a 6.56 goals against average and .549 save percentage.
 
The Red Men are 9-for-35 on man-up opportunities, and 150-for-173 on clears.

The Red Men will return to Art Keller Field on Friday, April 8 against Whittier College. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m.
