Red Men Close Five-Game Road Swing Wednesday, Return Home Saturday

KENOSHA, WIS.—The Carthage College men's lacrosse team (4-2, 1-0 CCIW) will end their five-game road swing at Birmingham-Southern College on Tuesday, March 22 at 1:00 p.m., and at Hanover College on Wednesday, March 23 at 4:30 p.m. The Red Men will return to Art Keller Field on Saturday, March 26 at 7:00 p.m. against Aurora University.
 
ABOUT BIRMINGHAM-SOUTHERN COLLEGE (8-1, 2-0 SAA)
 
The Panthers' only loss on the season came in a 14-6 decision against Colorado College on February 14. Tanner Schneider, McHale Schneider, Davis Thompson and Evan Lalande make up a top-heavy Panther lineup as they each own 20+ points on the season.
 
Hank Harris started all nine games in net for the Panthers this season and owns a 6.82 goals against average, and a .597 save percentage. Robert Dozier paces the Birmingham-Southern defense with 19 clears on the season.
 
The 2016 season is Casey Kear's third as Panther head men's lacrosse coach.
 
ABOUT HANOVER COLLEGE (4-4, 2-0 ORLC)
 
The Panthers won four of their last five games after opeining the season with three straight losses. Joseph Deleo leads the Hanover scoring attack with 16 goals and 11 assists for 27 points.
 
Jake Glass started six-of-eight Panther games in goal on the season and carries an 8.95 goals against average.  Skip Lichtfuss is the head men's lacrosse coach at Hanover College.
 
ABOUT AURORA UNIVERSITY (5-1, 0-0 MLC)
 
Aurora's only blemish on the season came in a 14-13 OT loss to Albion College on March 19. Jason Koziol and Trevor McNamara both carry 30+ points on the season for the Spartans. Bryce Wallgard paces the Spartans with 15 clears on the season.
 
Tyler Lombardi started five games in net for the Spartans and owns a 10.29 goals against average, and a .432 save percentage. Kylor Berkman is in his fifth season as Spartan head men's lacrosse coach and carries a 59-20 career record.
 
CARTHAGE
 
Dylan Harris paces the Red Men in scoring with 13 goals and eight assists for 21 points. His five-goal performance at Milwaukee School of Engineering on March 19 landed him CCIW Offensive Player of the Week honors this afternoon. Connor Nelson also claimed CCIW Defensive Player of the Week accolades today.
 
Ryan Smith, Cameron Laird and Jonah Lackey each have starting experience in net this season and combine for a .585 save percentage.
 
LOOKING AHEAD
 
The Red Men will travel to Colorado Springs, Colo. on the weekend of April 2. They will face Williams College at 1:00 p.m. (MT) on Saturday April 2, and Colorado College at 12:00 p.m. (MT) on Sunday, April 3.
