Box Score MILWAUKEE, WIS.—The Carthage College men's lacrosse team never took their foot off the gas pedal in a Saturday-matinee at Milwaukee School of Engineering. The Red Men peppered more shots than their opponent in four-of-five games prior to their meeting with the Raiders.

The opening stages of the game indicated that trend was going to continue. The Red Men more than tripled the Raiders in the shots department with a 41-12 advantage, which helped secure a 14-2 victory on Saturday afternoon.
Dylan Harris paced the Red Men in scoring with five goals and one assist.

The first quarter was clean on both sides as neither team drew a penalty.

The Red Men capitalized on their first shot of the game with 12:04 left in the opening frame when
Billy Lane let one go past MSOE goalkeeper Pat Collins to make the score 1-0.

Dylan Harris scored the first of his five goals in the contest with 8:06 left in the first quarter to extend the Red Men lead to 2-0.

Jared Ferrell, Harris and
Andy Szun each scored a goal within a 1:30 span in the final three minutes of the opening frame to extend the Red Men lead to 5-0.

The Red Men capitalized on their first man up opportunity with 9:37 left in the second quarter when
Luke Seydel notched a goal to widen the margin to 6-0. Harris and Seydel each registered goals to widen the Carthage lead to 9-0 at halftime.

The Red Men continued to pour salt on the wound in the second half when
Tanner Thomas and Szun each notched a goal within the opening three minutes to make the score 11-0.

Dylan Harris notched his fifth goal of the contest at the 9:13 mark of the third quarter to make the score 12-0 before the Raiders responded. Clay Gustafson notched both of the Raider goals in the latter part of the game. The first one came with 5:54 left in the third quarter, and the other occurred at the 4:54 mark of the fourth quarter to make the score 14-2.

Carthage will return to action on Tuesday, March 22 at Birmingham-Southern College. Game time is slated for 1:00 p.m.
