The Carthage College women's tennis team (15-6, 5-1 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) concluded its regular-season schedule on Sunday, April 29 by winning both ends of a double-dual match at the Smeds Tennis Center in Kenosha, Wis.  Carthage edged Wisconsin-La Crosse (20-5), 5-4, before blanking Edgewood College (13-15) by a 9-0 margin. 

Carthage's Hollis McPeek (Sr., Lake Bluff, Ill./Lake Forest, 15-10) defeated the Wisconsin-La Crosse's Jenny Maruyama at No. 1 singles, 6-1, 6-4, and won over Edgewood's Shae Beckwith, 6-1, 6-4.  Bari Reynolds (So., Sterling, Ill., 22-6) won over the UW-La Crosse's Olivia Hartwick at No. 2 singles, 6-2, 0-6, 10-6, and defeated Edgewood's Laura Olsen, 6-2, 6-1.  Kristina Naidicz (So., Kenosha, Wis./Tremper, 14-12) split at No. 3 and No. 4 singles.  Haleigh McPeek (Fr., Lake Bluff, Ill./Lake Forest, 6-4) lost to UW-La Crosse at No. 3 singles.  Amanda Bizub (Sr., Hartland, Wis./Arrowhead, 13-7) lost at No. 6 singles to Wisconsin-La Crosse but won at No. 4 singles over Edgewood.  Erin Henrickson (Fr., Darien, Ill./Hinsdale South, 9-16) lost at No. 4 singles to Wisconsin-La Crosse.
 
Carthage's No. 1 doubles team of McPeek and McPeek (10-1) won both of their matches, as did the Lady Reds' No. 2 team of Reynolds and Naidicz (6-5).  Carthage's No. 3 team of Bizub and Henrickson (6-4) split. 

Carthage travels to Moline, Ill., on Friday-Saturday, May 4-5 for the CCIW Automatic Qualifying Tournament at the Quad City Tennis Club.  The top-four teams in the CCIW Women's Tennis Championship qualify for the automatic qualifying event.  Second-seeded Carthage plays third-seeded Illinois Wesleyan University (8-7) in a semifinal match, with top-seeded Wheaton College (Ill., 17-2) taking on fourth-seeded Augustana College (Ill., 15-10) in the other semifinal contest.
