Jeff Lotz Jr., (So., Racine, Wis./Horlick, 12-2) defeated the Saints' Jacob Engelstad at No. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-2, while
Daneric Hazelman (Jr., Lautoka, Fiji Islands/Natabua, 13-2), ranked 15th in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Central Region rankings, won over Tucker Combs, 7-5, 6-1, at No. 2 singles.
Matt Whiteside (Jr., Sacramento, Calif./Natomas Pacific Pathways Prep, 10-2) was a winner at No. 3 singles, as was
Alex McLean (Jr., Belleville, Ill./West, 1-1) at No. 4 singles and
Nick Boomgarden (Jr., Fitchburg, Wis./Verona Area, 7-6) at No. 5 singles.
Brian Howes (So., Bartlett, Ill., 5-7) lost at No. 6 singles.
Carthage's No. 1 doubles team of Hazelman and Lotz (12-3), ranked 25th in the region, fell to St. Scholastica, 9-7. The No. 2 team of Whiteside and Boomgarden (10-3) was a winner, but the No. 3 tandem of Howes and
Russell Mull (Jr., Lake Forest, Ill., 5-3) fell to the Saints.
