The Carthage College women's soccer team (7-7-2, 0-4-0 College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin) was shut out by non-conference opponent St. Ambrose University (11-5-0), 3-0, on Wednesday, Oct. 20 at the Davenport Soccer Complex in Davenport, Iowa. 

Following a scoreless first half, the Fighting Bees scored three times in 15 minutes midway through the second period. Ashley Dexter scored her 13th goal of the year at 55:00. Abby Kent followed with a goal at 60:00, and Meredith Obert closed out the scoring with a goal at 70:00. 

Carthage travels to Naperville, Ill., on Sunday, Oct. 24 to take on CCIW-opponent North Central College (5-8-0, 0-4-0 CCIW) in a 1 p.m. contest at Benedetti-Wehrli Stadium.
