KENOSHA - The Carthage women's swim and dive made a powerful splash in the pool, turning in a high-energy, first-place-filled performance highlighted by dominance in both individual races and relays. The Firebirds controlled the meet from the opening events and never let up, delivering clutch swims, personal bests, and depth across the lineup to fuel an impressive team effort.

Brie Skalski was the centerpiece of the day, putting together a phenomenal three-win performance. Skalski captured first place in the 500-yard freestyle (5:23.75), surged to victory in the 400-yard IM (4:56.45), and closed the distance events in commanding fashion by winning the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 18:57.16.
Sprint success came from Lucy Brown, who powered to first place in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.49, while Jill Kane added another top finish in the 100-yard breaststroke, touching first in 1:09.17. Addison Shaffer delivered one of the day's biggest highlights in the 200-yard butterfly, claiming first place in a personal-best time of 2:19.94.
Carthage's relays sealed the momentum and energized the meet even further. The Firebirds took first in the 200-yard medley relay (1:55.10) and capped off the day with a winning performance in the 400-yard freestyle relay, clocking 3:44.57.
