Gilbert Listed in Latest NCAA Division III Technical Falls Update

INDIANAPOLIS — The NCAA released updated standings for the 2026 NCAA Men's Wrestling Awards this week, recognizing performances from across Divisions I, II and III during the regular and postseason.

Among those listed was Carthage's CJ Gilbert, who currently ranks 10th in Division III in technical falls at 174 pounds. Gilbert has recorded 12 technical falls with a cumulative time of 50:05 against Division III competition.

The NCAA Men's Wrestling Awards, first presented in 2012, honor the Most Dominant Wrestler along with the student-athletes who accumulate the most falls and technical falls in each division. Only results against opponents from the same division are eligible for consideration, with ties broken by aggregate match time.

Final awards will be presented in March at the NCAA Division III Wrestling Championships.
