NAPERVILLE - The College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) announced its Men's Swimming and Diving Student-Athletes of the Week. For the fifth time this season, Taydin Murphy of the Carthage Men's Swimming and Diving team was named Men's Diving Student-Athlete of the Week for the CCIW, the conference announced Tuesday. 

Murphy, a sophomore from Minooka, Illinois, swept the diving events in the dual matchup against IIT last Saturday. In the one meter dive, Murphy scored 252.20 and in the three meter dive, scored a 274.20. 

The Firebirds are back in action on Friday, January 23, traveling to Appleton, Wisconsin, to take on Lawrence. Action is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. For more information, visit our athletics.carthage.edu.
