KENOSHA - The Carthage men's swim and dive team returned to action in 2026 and turned in a commanding effort, sweeping numerous events and posting an emphatic team score.

The Firebirds began the meet with a victory in the 200-yard medley relay, as
AJ Landorf,
Andrew Laborevitch,
Tyson Politsch, and
William Murray won in 1:38.95.
Distance swimmer Sean Noller was a standout, winning both the 1000-yard freestyle (10:44.17) and the 500-yard freestyle (5:12.71).
Aidan Nord claimed first in the 200-yard freestyle (1:49.78), while Murray captured two sprint victories in the 50-yard freestyle (22.36) and 100-yard freestyle (48.64).
In the stroke events, Trey Halas dominated the backstroke, winning both the 100-yard backstroke (56.17) and 200-yard backstroke (2:02.99). Politsch earned three individual victories, taking first in the 100-yard breaststroke (58.63), 200-yard breaststroke (2:14.26), and 100-yard butterfly (53.00). Landorf added wins in the 200-yard butterfly (2:01.61) and 200-yard individual medley (2:01.77).
On the diving boards, Taydin Murphy swept both events, winning the 3-meter dive (229.20) and the 1-meter dive (246.55). The meet concluded with another relay victory for Carthage, as Murray,
Ben Przekota,
Adam Hollis, and Nord won the 200-yard freestyle relay in 1:29.16.
