Damon Earns CSC Second Team Academic All-America Honors

GREENWOOD, Ind. - Jenna Damon of the Carthage women's volleyball team as been named Second Team Academic All-America, which was announced by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday.

Damon, a senior from Durand, Ill., excelled both on the volleyball court and in the classroom. As a libero for the Firebirds, Damon earned her third First Team All-CCIW recognition, second CCIW Elite 26 recognition, and was named the 2025 CCIW Defensive Student-Athlete of the Year. Damon finished the season with career-highs 556 digs (4.52 digs per set), 125 assists, and 58 service aces.

In the classroom, the marketing major held an impressive 4.00 GPA. Damon was one of just seven individuals selected for the NCAA Division III Academic All-America Teams to hold a 4.00 GPA, and one of 43 individuals across all divisions of NCAA women's volleyball.
