NORMAL - The Carthage College women's golf team showcases talent at the Illinois Wesleyan Fall Classic, hosted by the Illinois Wesleyan Titans in Normal, Illinois. The Firebirds placed 8th out of 19 teams, scoring a total of 638 with rounds of 306 and 332 (+62). Lexi Manteufel led the Firebirds, tying for 7th place out of 121 golfers. 



Manteufel led the Firebirds, carding rounds of 72 and 78 for a 150 total score and tying for seventh place. Ro Longden tied for 34th place with rounds of 76 and 84 for a total score of 160. Mae Norman scored a total of 161, carding rounds of 75 and 86, tying for 41st place. Lauren Howe carded rounds of 83 and 84 for a total score of 167, and tying for 72nd place. Emily Tralewski tied for 94th place and scoring 174, carding rounds of 87 and 87. Madeline Midgett rounded out the Firebirds scoring 177 and tying for 99th place, carding rounds of 88 and 89. 



"This weekend we continued to show our true potential, said head coach Bill Buss". "Putting is the key to shooting low scores at this level and when they fall for us we will compete at a high level."
